The nascent CDR (carbon dioxide removal) industry is innovating dozens of creative ways to capture carbon, some using biology and botany and ecology, some oceanology, some chemistry and physics and engineering and computer science, with the ultimate target of scaling up until carbon removal is so cheap and plentiful that it can lower the parts per million of carbon in the earth's atmosphere and reverse global warming.
